Ingredients: 2 cups of desiccated coconut 1 cup of finely ground almonds (or left over almond pulp) 1/2 of a cup of maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice 4 tablespoons of cacao powder 1/2 a teaspoon of sea salt
Method: Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend well to form a dough (stopping to scrap down the sides).
Use 1 tablespoon measurements of the dough, rolling into small balls then lightly press to make disc shapes.
Place them onto Teflex-lined dehydrator trays and dehydrate for around 8-9 hours at 115 degrees (fahrenheit).
If needed, flip them and dehydrate for another hour or so. When cooled, place them in the fridge to set and serve! Keep refrigerated.
